Channel 2′s Michael Seiden learned that Bennett will be on parole through Jan. 2031. During that time, he will be required to live with his mom, submit to drug tests, stay away from gang members & refrain from any gang activities.
He also can’t have any firearms and can’t leave state without permission from his parole officer.
Seiden first told you last summer about a letter Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis sent to State Board of Pardons and Paroles that supported his early release.
“The District Attorney of Fulton County did the unorthodox,” attorney Drew Findling told Seiden back in July. “That letter from the district attorney is a powerful punch and is really at the heart of the letter and supporting documents and the memorandum that we have shared with the parole board.”
