Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says a cold front approaching north Georgia will bring the risk of strong and severe storms.

A line of storms will move into northwest Georgia late tonight with embedded strong to severe storms.

These storms will have the potential for damaging wind gusts and a low risk of large hail.

Brief tornadoes are also possible late tonight, especially in northwest Georgia.
