Stay weather aware throughout the evening as severe weather is impacting northern Georgia.
As of 9:30 p.m., an estimated 107,000 Georgia Power customers are without power, according to the Georgia Power outage map.
Damage reports are coming in from a line of severe storms Saturday night.
A viewer in Waleska in Cherokee County reported that trees are down all over the place, including their giant weeping willow. The power is also out.

Fayette County reported that Highway 279 at Imperial Way is closed due to downed power lines. Old Ford Road is closed because of fallen trees. Please avoid these areas and seek alternative routes, if possible.
Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office reported on social media that trees are down all over the county.
Smyrna Fire confirmed that a tree fell into a house on Reed Road in Smyrna.
A viewer reported that multiple trees are down and roads are impassible in Mount Zion, Georgia, in Carroll County. There are trees on North Prospect, Earnest and Bowdon Junction roads. The trees that have fallen in the storm are huge, 100-year-old oaks, the viewer said.
Carroll County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on its social media the following roads are blocked due to trees: 1789 Sandhill Hickory Level Road, Oak Mountain Road at Old Newnan Road, and Meadowbrook Road at Bowdon Junction.
Douglas County EMA said a house is possibly on fire from a lightning strike. There are also reports of a tree blocking Post Road and Highway 166 in Douglas County, trees down at Overlook Drive and Golfers Way in Villa Rica and a tree down at Village Entrance Road and Richardson Road in Douglasville.
In Whitfield County, a tree is in the roadway at the Central Church of Christ on Tibbs Road. A tree fell on the vehicle, but no injuries were reported, Whitfield County EMA reports.
Damage is also being reported in Polk County, according to emergency responders, as 5:16 p.m. There are trees down across the county, including at 1394 Hutchins Mountain Road in Rockmart, Mountain Road in Cedartown, 258 Wilson Road in Cedartown and 403 N. College Street.
