ATLANTA — A much colder weather pattern will move in over the next several days Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon says.

As for Sunday, you can expect a cloudy, cool and breezy day with scattered showers, so not only will you need a jacket, but you will also need an umbrella.

Showers have developed with more expected later Sunday afternoon.

The high for today will be near 50, with a brief wintry mix possibility in higher elevations, but with minimal to no impact.

Later into the night, a cold front will move in, bringing more widespread rain, with some of it being heavy.

Expect rainfall to carry over into early Monday morning, but not for long as the expectation is for dry weather to return with gusty winds and falling temperatures.
