The long duration freeze began late Sunday night and it will say through at least Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says temperatures dropped below freezing and wind chills started off in single digits or below zero on Monday morning.

Temperatures are expected to stay near or below freezing for the next several days.
Pipes will be a major concern, as several days of near or below freezing temperatures could cause pipes to freeze. Monahan says to remember to allow water to slowly drip from your faucets as moving water helps guard against the freezing process.
