Temperatures plunging across metro Atlanta with blast of arctic air

ATLANTA — Monday evening will bring falling temperatures and gusty winds.

Winds will gust over 35 mph Severe Weather Team 2 said.

“Overnight and into Tuesday morning, we drop to lows in the 20s and windchill in the teens,” Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz said.

Nitz said to make sure and bundle up to start the day on Tuesday.

Here’s what to know:

• Lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s the next few days
• We stay cold through Wednesday and Thursday
