COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Marietta said a missing 2-year-old boy has been found dead.
Investigators confirmed to Channel 2’s Michael Doudna that Messiah Harris, who was about about to turn 3 in a few weeks, was found dead in the woods near the apartment complex on Ridge Run.
Police say Harris had likely been dead for “a considerable amount of time” by the time he was reported missing.

According to the person that was watching him, Messiah was last seen at the apartment around 1:30 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been released.
His caregiver and parents are still being questioned.
No one has been arrested or charged.
