This burst pipe was just eight inches compared to the 30-inch main that burst two weeks ago, impacting the county for days.
Gehlbach says this break had water bubbling up in the middle of one of the lanes.
“It just started bubbling water out of the road, and just turned to ice,” said neighbor Logan Paquin.
Paquin told Regan he first noticed the leak two days ago and called the Department of Watershed Management.
Neighbors at the 1377 Brookhaven Apartments didn’t know there was a water main break in front of the building.

“As of right now, everything seems to be A-okay…remains to be seen what happens in the next hour or two,” neighbor Doug Girard said.
Girard said he and his wife have a new baby at home, so they’ve already prepared in case the water goes out.
“Even when we brought newborn home a couple weeks ago, we went out and got our bottled water. So hopefully just a minor inconvenience for a little bit of time,” he said.
There is no expected time for when the water main may be fully repaired.
