DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Crews completed repairs to a broken water main on Dresden Drive in Dekalb County and reopened the road, the Watershed Department said Friday.
The county encouraged affected customers to run their faucets inside and outside to clear internal plumbing as service is restored, according to a news release.

Dresden Drive, which connects Peachtree Street and Clairmont Road, was shut down while crews worked to fix the 6-inch water main.
Channel 2′s Steve Gehlbach and Tom Regan reported Thursday that someone who lived nearby noticed water seeping up amid freezing temperatures two days earlier and contacted Watershed Management.
“It just started bubbling water out of the road and just turned to ice,” said neighbor Logan Paquin on Thursday.
A 30-inch water main pipe also burst in DeKalb County on Jan. 13, affecting residents for days.
