STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. — A man is dead and two other victims are wounded after an apparent murder-suicide incident in DeKalb County.
Police say on Friday at 7:19 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 4800 block of Martins Crossing Road in Stone Mountain in reference to a person shot call.

When police arrived, they found a woman in her 50′s inside with a gunshot wound to her back and a man in his 50′s with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The woman’s injuries were considered to be non-life-threatening, while the man’s injuries are life-threatening. Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Police also found a third man inside of the home who was dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The incident according to police was due to the suspect experiencing a mental health crisis, which led to the shooting. Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
