DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The DeKalb County Police Department is on the scene of a shooting that occurred after 11 a.m.
Police say they responded to a person shot call in the 3100 block of Lumby Drive at 11:46 a.m. The address corresponds to the Creekside Vista Apartments.

When they arrived, police say they found a man in his 40s who had been shot multiple times.
Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead on scene.
Law enforcement officials say they are searching for clues and talking to potential witnesses, however, there is no danger to the neighborhood.
