Meteorologist Eboni Deon joined the Severe Weather Team 2 as weekend morning meteorologist in December 2018. She is delighted to be back in Atlanta where she lived for nearly 10 years working at The Weather Channel and CNN International. She most recently spent time working as weekend morning meteorologist at WFTV in Orlando, FL. Prior to that, she worked at WISH-TV in her hometown of Indianapolis, IN as the weekend evening meteorologist. Eboni started her career in Jackson, Mississippi, at the National Weather Networks. She left to become a radio broadcast meteorologist for The Weather Channel Radio Network. Soon afterward, she became an on-camera meteorologist at The Weather Channel. She has also spent time doing weather reports for CNN International and Al Jazeera America in New York City. Eboni graduated from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology. She earned a Masters of Geosciences with a focus on Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Eboni is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
